TERM 1 SWIMMING FOR SPORT AFTERNOONS
Event: Swimming for Sport program for all students in Year 3 – 6
Venue: Hawkesbury Campus Pool, University ofWestern Sydney
When: Years 3 & 6 – Fridays 12 & 19 February andWednesday 24 February 2010
Years 4 & 5 – Fridays 5, 12 & 19 March 2010
Time: 1.00 pm – bus leaves school3.00 pm – bus returns to school
Activities: Students are grouped in ability levels from learn to swim, to stroke correction (in all four strokes), and life saving
Bring: Swimmers, towel, rash shirts, fitted goggles, sunscreen and spare jumper or towel if
weather turns cold (girls
MUST wear one piece or rash shirt over two piece, boys
MUST NOT wear boxers under board shorts)
Cost: $21
per student for the three-week program for bus travel and pool entry
